Spent much of the day at the site. The American Robin showed superbly for me at times, particularly late afternoon. Also saw the Firecrest nearby at Ivy Cottage twice in 3.5 hours of searching. It can certainly be elusive for periods. A Chiffchaff was also in the vicinity.

Left work at 14:15hrs finally finding and arriving at the site at 15:45hrs. The American Robin showed very well both in a private garden and on adj spare land. I only managed this record shot in the fading late afternoon light. Fantastic bird well worthy of a repeat visit.
